BREATH/BRAIN BALANCE/CORE STRENGTH/CENTERING


BREATH

  • deepen the bodies connection to the core
  • oxygenate the brain and muscles
  • increase the focus in the body and mind








BRAIN BALANCE

  • Increasing movement vocabulary to expand possibilities of movement and thinking,
  • Sycronizing brain hemispheric balance.
  • Increase understanding of the latest neuroscience research on the importance of the motor cortex in the "centering" of our well being.



CORE STRENGTH

  • Developing the physical connection to the deepest muscles of stabilization within the body.
  • How to incorporate that muscular strength into all our movements
  • Experiencing breath and muscular connection.





CENTERING
  • Using the movement vocabulary of various dance to "inform" the body and release stored E (nergy) Motion= EMOTION
  • Exploring the spinal highways of the nervous system. These are the largest pathways into the brain.
